?File Download and Connection Information
This guide assumes that you do not even have NWN installed. If you do, skip ahead to relevant steps.
Install NWN + SoU + HotU.
Patch to 1.69. You can still find the critical rebuild here for windows. GoG.com versions will not need patching. Download starts immediately - 310 megabytes. (If that link does not work, I have a copy on my dropbox here.)
Get familiar with your NWN directory, as you will need to place files in it. It is generally C:/Neverwinter Nights/NWN/, but it may differ if you changed it. If you purchased through GOG.com, it may be under something like C:/Program Files(x86)/GOG.com/Neverwinter Nights/ or something similar.
Make sure that your override folder is empty. Files in the override folder can possibly interfere with files in the hak folder if they overlap. Also, if you have old files in the hak folder, you may want to remove them or move them out depending on what server they are for (feel free to clear all old Arleah 2.0 files).
If you do not have Winrar, you will need it to open archive files. Download it here.
You will need several custom content files:
This file contains all of our custom content sans CEP 2.4a. Extract all of these files directly to the hak folder in your NWN directory. Download starts immediately - 269 megabytes.
You will need CEP 2.4a. Open the file and extract only the .hak files in the hak folder within the rar, placing them directly within your own hak folder. Download starts immediately - 973 megabytes.
You will need Our top haks and tlk. Open the file and extract the two .hak files and place them in the hak folder. Extract the .tlk file and put them in the tlk folder. If this is a fresh NWN install, you may need to create the tlk folder yourself. Download starts immediately - File size will vary, should never be more than a few megabytes at maximum.
Optional: This download is my custom soundset.2da file. This file unlocks several voice sets during character creation in case you want to use NPC or (some) monster soundsets. It doesn't have "everything" unlocked, but has anything that I could imagine players wanting to reasonably use. If you choose to install this file, extract the contents to your override folder. Download starts immediately - Only a few kilobytes.
That ought to do it, you should be fully ready to connect to the server and begin playing. The server IP and Port is currently:
